Game Unit: Time Travel Ninja
To make our game we planned out the levels. Then we made the background in photoshop. Then we made the character. After words in game maker we programmed the game. My favorite part was the programming. If possible I would add in ladder to the game. Phenakistoscope
A phenakistoscope is a cartoon making device that rotates to make a loop of moving imaging become a looping animation. A loop is something that happens over and over, and with my walk cycle it makes an infinitely walking cactus. Personally my favorite old animation toy is a flip book, because it is easy to make, easy to use, and generally fun. I thought the phenakistoscope easy to use. Color Theory Project
I used the analogous color theory and I think it matches my expression because I look like an alien that doesn't care about the earth or the human race. I chose this background to look like an alien. I feel used a few tints, tones, and shades. My strongest element of art is probably value. Photo Unit
Both of these photos were created through double exposure. I selected these photos as my best because the first one of how confusing nature is to us all. And the second photo reminds me of school trapping us in a cage of learning that only graduating can set us free from school. For the first photo line seems to be strongest element of art. The second photo's strongest element of art would have to be value. I personally enjoyed learning abut digital photography, because it was fun and enjoyable. Critter Montage! Golden Jagtriever
The two animals I used to make this creature are a jaguar a type of wild cat and a golden retriever which is a breed of dog. The tool is photoshop that was the best for me was the clone stamp tool. The strongest element I used would have to be texture because of the fur and the strongest principle would be pattern because of the pattern on the fur. My color was good because without it my golden jagtriever would be black and white. Also my picture's movement was nice because it looks like the golden jagtriever is about to pounce. Tessellation
I think color and pattern are the strongest element and principle in my artwork. I think making it in computer is easier than traditionally. It looks pretty cool, though it is possible the two different patterns may not be distinguishable from each other. I would hope my tessellation at least resembles M.C. Escher artwork, who we learned about in class. Font Bot Project
This is my font bot, it is sans serif. I think that the font is good with the font bot. I enjoyed making the font bot in PS because, for one thing it made things easier than doing it in pages. Also it was kinda the the only option. Although it took some time. This bot would be made by a mad scientist to steal all the pie in the world. The red stuff would be cherry filling. He would ruthfully steal pie, without remorse. |
Square 1 Art Project
At the beginning of this project I did, on Photoshop, I filled the background with a black paint bucket. Then drawing with a bamboo tablet, I drew a grey heart. I filled it in with green face. I then made a silver diamond. Then I filled it with with grey. Next I made a human I and a robot eye. After that I made a shirt and filled it with gold. Lastly I signed my artwork. I believe my strongest element is lines and that my strongest principle is emphasis. I did not enjoy the tablet because twice I deleted my work, and had to redo an old version. I used high contrast with 1 to 3 colors to create an artwork that makes a concept of positive and negative space. I used the green and red which are complimentary colors. Also I used gold to make the black look better. I admire this art because of it's contrast and perspective. It makes it seem like your looking up to batman from a bit below him, like he's about to pounce on you. Also everything is dark, but the light coming from behind batman and the bat signal. This picture is made by Canadian David Finch, he also made Marvel, and he illustrated the covers for the entire Brightest Day series for DC.
